Bishop Henry Frank Eluett Sr.

Bishop Eluett is a Great Shepherd of God’s sheep who uses practical principles, transparency and the apostolic anointing with a prophetic mantle to capture his audiences with the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Bishop Eluett is widely esteemed as a motivator and student of biblical truths who believes that we must hold each other accountable to the standards of Christ so that we may fulfill Christs great commission. Bishop Eluett obtained a Master’s Degree in Theology at Jacksonville Theological Seminary and an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Divinity at Blessed Hope Bible College in Tampa Florida. Bishop Eluett is the founder of APT to Teach, Inc., and HEM International, Inc. He is the author of two books: Bid Me to Come and Silent Killer which can be purchased through Amazon.com and Pleasant.com.

To build a body of believers that has all the training to be true disciples. To enable them to minister the Gospel the way the Bible illustrates the power of God.

Our Mission

To take those who are oppressed and teach them how to be overcomers, by providing them with the necessary biblical truths. To stand strictly on the promises of God, not compromising or altering because of unbelief.
To be an example to the body of Christ.

Our Goals

To not just be another church on the block. To make a difference in the community by standing in faith and believing God to perform His Word. Not for any glory unto we ourselves but to demonstrate the power of God and tell how He is able to take the broken and build them up into respectable human beings.

Associate Pastors

Jarrell and Paula Housey

Associate Pastors Jarrel & Paula accepted the call of ministry early in 2015 under the Leadership of Bishop Henry Frank Eluett and Pastor Phyllis Eluett at The River Church. Their roles in the ministry include, but are not limited to, teaching Bible Study, bookkeeping, and serving the Bishop and Pastor Eluett as well as the congregation any way they can.

Our Praise Ministry is to help set the atmosphere for God’s presence. We do this by ministry of songs so that the glory of God can save, set free, and deliver those in attendance and who are open. As a praise and worship member, it is important that we live a lifestyle of Worship, so what we do in secret, God will reveal openly. Our goal is that everyone that experiences our ministry walks away changed!

CBC Youth Ministry

The Chosen By Christ (C.B.C.) Youth Department is responsible for teaching our young about stability and foundation in God’s Word. Through these relationships, we will influence their desire to do well and aspire for greater things with God in their midst while providing educational support. We provide tutoring in a number of school subjects and promote their academic achievements. CBC also rewards our youth for their great achievements as well as plan a number of activities celebrating them throughout the year. We work hard and play hard! We welcome youth of all ages. Healing Hearts Ministry

Founded by our Woman of God, Pastor Phyllis Eluett, Healing Hearts Women's Ministry is a place where the broken woman is encouraged and loved, while teaching her to love herself first and begin to be true to who God created her to be.
